Who we are ?

A firm approved by the Intellectual Property Office of Monaco, Inlex was set up to meet the intellectual property requirements of the Principality’s economic players. We support our clients throughout the administrative and legal processes required for them to leverage, monitor and protect their projects. Their creative potential is thus unleashed in a secure legal framework that is essential for the sound economic use of their property.

Our team is made up of legal counsels with a wide range of international experience and offers accurate and specialised expertise in the field of patents, supplemented where required by contractual and pre-litigation assistance.

As a member of the MEB (Monaco Economic Board) and the CEMA (Club of Monegasque Entrepreneurs in Africa), Inlex works together with a network of international legal experts in compliance with the rules of confidentiality inherent to this profession.

 

Franck SOUTOUL
Franck SOUTOUL is an industrial property counsel and a European representative to the EUIPO, specializing in trademark, drawing, design and domain name law. His preferred area of expertise is the development of availability search strategies, which often turns into a true challenge, in view of EU issues and regulations and the resulting unfair competition problems.

Franck has a dual educational background (he holds both a post-graduate international trade diploma and a business management diploma). He started working in this trade in 1987 and obtaines his IP Counsel diploma in 1991.

Franck is particularly involved in IP issues at European and international level, through his contributions to comparison analyses between local and regional laws, building upon his experience gained while managing fils, and through his many connections in the profession.

A member of a number of professional organisations such as APRAM (Association of Trade Mark and Design Law Practitioners), ECTA and MARQUES, he is also an observer for APAA due to his particular interest in ASIA.

 

Nicolas DOTTA

Nicolas DOTTA holds a master 1 in economic & business law from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, and a master 2 in comparative business law from the Université des Lumières in Lyon, Nicolas complemented his training as a counsel, working successively in several prestigious groups, including Ernst & Young.

Then, Nicolas DOTTA decided to leverage this international background. Since 2006, and following a professional experience in a chartered accountancy firm in Monaco, he has endeavored to specialize in Monegasque intellectual property law. This specialization allows him to gain full knowledge and command of Monaco’s specific legislation on the protection of marks and patents. Following a rigorous and conscientious approach, Nicolas helps Monegasque economic players apprehend local IP laws and overcome any associated problems.

 

Antoine NARMINO

Jurist specializing in business law, Antoine Narmino holds an LLM in financial law at Boston University and a master of private law at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, where he specialized in corporate law. Antoine is particularly concerned with intellectual property contractual issues and has a command of English essential today.

Antoine holds a financial law LLM from the Boston University and a private law master with legal advisor specialty from the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis. He is particularly interested in contractual issues associated with intellectual property, and has a good command of English, as required in order to be able to adequately handle such international issues.

Antoine has the private law skills needed to provide optimum assistance to economic players in the assignment or licensing to third parties of their personal or intellectual rights resulting from their intellectual work.

Antoine NARMINO is also very much interested in the increasingly wide scope of application of Intellectual Property law, as results directly from constant changes in technologies, and particularly in the sphere of information technologies.
